I was was watching my first season I Dream of Jeannie DVDs this weekend.
In the first season which was in black and white Jeannie had a slightly different costume from the seasons that followed, as well as her hairstyle and extension; and her bottle was black with leaves in gold, and the cork or cap or lid was black with a clear crystal on it. I have a book about the show mentioning this and other facts.
When SONY Pictures had the episodes colorized for a second DVD release, they painted the bottle with the colors of the subsequent seasons. I think it looks terrible.
